The Ball Fireman Racer watch takes a step back in time to visit the brand’s rich history and then two steps into the future to give us all something new. The overall design has been inspired by the traditional pocket watches worn by railroad employees, the area Webb C. Ball made his mark in, while at the same time combining contemporary innovations and technical prowess to create a timekeeping masterpiece.
The automatic calibre BALL RR1103 movement sits within a comfortably sized 40mm stainless steel case that has passed the 5,000GS crash test and is water resistant to 100 metres. The sapphire crystal glass with antireflective treatment overlooks a crisp white and blue detailed dial fixed with 15 luminous micro tubes that will glow in the dark for up to 25 years without requiring any recharge. The dial is also completed by a magnified date feature at three o clock and a sweeping seconds hand. To fasten this Ball Fireman Racer watch to your wrist, the timepiece comes on a black rubber strap and stainless steel buckle.
